If you had a choice to live anywhere would be your preference salt water beaches, forest, fresh water lakes, hot tub, ski resort or desert?

A very hard choice. If I could have my dreamscape it would be something near the edge of a forest, close to a stream, within view of a golden, sandy beach. I’d make my home, somehow in or around a tree or trees & maybe even have the stream running through the house somewhere. Mind you with the flooding these days maybe I should rethink lol.

What was your favorite toy as a child  . . . and now?

When I was a child I had a stuffed, anthropomorphic rabbit, meaning that was shaped like a human but had a rabbits face & ears. It was mostly washed-out blue with some pink bits & it had a pink disc with a hole in it, hanging around it’s neck. I have no idea where it got it’s ‘necklace’ from or even if it had a name. I just remember that I always had it with me, even during long stays in hospital & convalescent homes. I don’t have it now & have no idea where it came from, or when or where it went.

I spent a lot of time sick as a child & developed a great love of books as a result. I still have a passion for books now rivaled only by my love of computers & the internet.

Which do you prefer sweet, salty or both at the same time?

Definitely salty, I’m a savoury rather than a sweet person. Give me a chunk of cheese over a piece of candy any day. I don’t take sugar in my tea or coffee & I tend to go for dry wine rather than sweet wine or spirits with sweetened mixers.

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?

I love the look of snow when it first falls, but I have to agree with Cee here, it all turns ugly & slushy far too quickly, so romance aside I like my winters crisp & blowy but dry.

  1. I like your idea of a stream running through the house, but you’re right about the flooding. I once saw a picture of a house built over a stream, and part of the floor was glass, like a window in the floor. Maybe that would work for you.

    1. Nice idea. I saw a family living in a hut built over a river once on TV. They were catching fish in their own ‘kitchen’ lol. I can’t remember which country it was, somewhere in Eastern Asia. They were very poor but rich in spirit 🙂

    1. My pleasure, I forgot to mention that these days my camera is my most treasured toy. It’s so much a part of my life I don’t even think about it any more lol 🙂
