Share Your World – 2014 Week 18

What object do you always have with you when traveling and why?

Long distance it would be my laptop.

I would be lost without it.

It’s my workplace & my window to the world.

Short distance it would be a book.

I love reading & pass my time on buses & trains stuck in a book.

Of course my camera is like a body part so I don’t even include it here.

What subject would you like to study in depth, if given the time to do so?

Ancient Civilizations & Languages.

I’m obsessed & have a huge library of related materials.

Which would you prefer:  a wild, turbulent life filled with joy, sorrow, passion, and adventure–intoxicating successes and stunning setbacks; or a contented bordering on happy, secure, predictable life surrounded by friends and family without such wide swings of fortune and mood?

I’ve had a wild turbulent life full of  joy, sorrow, passion & adventure, that was also happy & secure with friends & family.

I didn’t get much in the way of intoxicating success & stunning setbacks, neither wide swings of fortune or mood.

I’d like my life to carry on in the same, unpredictable way, with maybe just a little more adventure, it makes for good photo’s.

What are your favorite spices?

Coriander, Cumin, Turmeric, Chilli, Cardamom, Mustard Seeds.

Hmm! It’s starting to sound like a nice curry on the way.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Grateful for …

A long chat on Skype with my youngest daughter.

Want to know what this is?
Want to know what this is?

It’s one of the subjects of my up & coming new art feature!!!

Looking forward to …

Launching a new regular art feature on my blog.

I want it to function like a spotlight column that encourages artistic debate.

It’s in the planning stages & I’ll be making the first post soon, hopefully.

  1. I forgot about ancient civilizations when I did my post, they’re very interesting. I love all those old Greek and Roman myths as well.
Your spice list is sounding like a tasty meal is on the way!
