Hello, I am currently studying photography at school in year 11. I have come across your work via a friend. I find your work very beautiful and inspiring especially your anachronistic work. I was interested to find out what gave you the inspiration to do this and why you do it? Also, what wanted you to pursue photography as a career and how you started?
I hope you understand and reply soon as your work is amazingly presented.
Thank you in advance and I hope you reply soon.
Many thanks.

Hi Eva,
I started taking photos when I received a Kodak Instamatic as a gift when I was about 11 years old. I don’t really consider myself to be a great photographer, but I wanted to work with collage & decided that using my own images would be more interesting for me than the usual cut & paste from old magazines.
Finding new images to use has become somewhat of an adventure for me & many works reflect certain days or events in my life. I sometimes have to wait quite a while to find a suitable element to represent something in a work. Often I randomly find something that I never could have planned to & a picture gets completed in an unexpected way.
I guess I’ve become a bit of a hunter lol. I hope this answers your questions.
Khana 🙂

These are wonderful! I am going to show them to my year 9 students who are studying Surrealism at the moment. Your work really injects new life into the idea. Thank you!
