Back when I was a kid, Flip Flops were called Thongs. I like the one’s you went back too, and this was clever!!!!

I used to call them thongs too, but if I say that now my kids start screaming with laughter because to them thongs are underwear.
How things change lol. Thanks for stopping by 🙂

They all look pretty psychedelic!
Especially the second pair.

I thought I’d jazz them up a bit, they looked a bit miserable lol 🙂

I would have never thought to take the prompt so literally- very clever idea. When I saw the title I thought maybe it would be a story about how you developed foot injuries due to flip flops but found yourself wearing them again. I guess I’m a sick puppy though. 🙂

Thanks, I just thought I’d have a bit of fun with this one. I’ve been wearing leather thongs for about 40 years now, my kids & various friends have tried on many occasions to tempt me with other footwear but I always end up back with my old faithfuls.
I have a friend in Gibraltar, who brings me 3 or 4 pairs of Moroccan ones every time she visits me & they last me well so I don’t even have to buy them 🙂
