Nawal El Saadawi.

Hannan Abu Hussein is an artist who’s work centre’s around the theme of abuse of women.
She particularly focuses on the horrors of female circumcision & honour killings.
She lives & works in Jerusalem.

Nawal El Saadawi is a writer, doctor, psychiatrist & political activist.
She campaigns for women’s rights, & was imprisoned in the 80’s for her activities.
Her life was also threatened after her release, forcing her to leave Egypt for a time.
She has published over 40 books, & now lives & works in Cairo.

“Resin” consists of 288 concrete-cast knives, hanging from the ceiling of a room in the Haifa Museum of Art.
